Thiago Silva has no intention of leaving AC Milan, according to his agent Paulo Fernando Tonietto.

The agent of Thiago Silva has insisted that his client has no intention of leaving AC Milan.

Silva has recently been linked with moves to Barcelona and Manchester City.

However, agent Paulo Fernando Tonietto has revealed that the Brazilian defender is planning to stay at the San Siro.

"Thiago is happy at Milan. He is a calm person and realises that he is playing for a great club," Tonietto told calciomercato.com.

"If he does not stay at Milan, it will be because the club decides otherwise.

"He is the best player in the world in his position, so it's easy to link his name to Barcelona. But neither Barcelona, nor Milan or Thiago has called to discuss this option. It is just speculation."

Silva joined the Rossoneri in 2009.
