Manchester City's Martin Demichelis has insisted that he has no doubts regarding his ability after helping the club keep five clean sheets in a row.
The Argentine has come under criticism this season after conceding penalties in the FA Cup and Champions League, which contributed to City's exit from both tournaments.
However, since then, Demichelis and defensive partner Vincent Kompany went on a five-match run of keeping clean sheets, which ended in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Arsenal.
"My confidence is very high and I feel I am in really good form and am happy to help the team," the Manchester Evening News quotes Demichelis as saying.
"It's true that I conceded penalties in two different competitions, and it's true they were punctual mistakes, but I am not in bad shape and am full of confidence."
City are currently third in the Premier League table, four points adrift of leaders Liverpool with two games in hand.
