Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has refused to rule out a return to former club Marseille in the future.
The Frenchman, who is a fan of Les Phoceens, left the Stade Velodrome to join Arsenal in 2008 before moving on to his current club three years later.
Nasri, who has been linked with a move away from the Etihad, insists that he is open to a move back to Marseille as well as a spell in the MLS.
"Clearly, economic reality stops me from thinking about playing at OM right now," Nasri told L'Equipe.
"In the future, I don't know yet. I would like to discover the MLS. I love American culture."
On Marseille, he added: "Why not in a few years? I've seen the Stade Velodrome half-finished. When the work's done, I feel sorry for opposing teams."
Nasri is yet to start a match for City in the Premier League so far this season.
