Manchester City defender Nicolas Otamendi has reportedly decided to reject interest from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Otamendi has enjoyed a successful spell at the Etihad Stadium, but City may look to cash in on the Argentina international during the summer.
Wolves have been linked with an approach for the 31-year-old as Nuno Espirito Santo looks to add more top-level experience to his squad, but it appears that the centre-back has other ideas.
According to reports in Spain, Otamendi has his sights sets on a return to La Liga and would be open to a second spell with former club Valencia.
Otamendi spent a year at the Mestalla during the 2014-15 campaign before City spent £28.5m to secure his services on a long-term contract.
Atletico Madrid and Sevilla have also been credited with an interest in Otamendi.
