Phil Foden is reportedly closing in on a new long-term contract with Manchester City.
The 22-year-old has featured on 170 occasions for the Citizens since making his debut in 2017, contributing 45 goals and 33 assists in the process.
The England international was again in impressive form for Pep Guardiola's side during the 2021-22 campaign, making 45 appearances, contributing 14 goals and 11 assists.
Foden's current deal with the Citizens is due to expire in June 2024, but there has been a host of speculation surrounding a potential new contract over the last few months.
According to 90min, the Englishman is now close to putting pen to paper on a new contract at the Etihad Stadium, which is likely to see him earn in excess of £200,000 a week.

The report claims that the agreement is expected to run until at least June 2027, while there will also be incentives in the deal to take him close to the highest-earners at the club.
Foden played 32 minutes of Man City's 3-1 defeat to Liverpool in the Community Shield on Sunday, coming off the bench during a period when Liverpool were winning 1-0.
The Englishman played in a number of different positions for the Citizens last season, including as a false nine, although Erling Braut Haaland's arrival this summer could mean that he is largely used in the wide positions.
Man City will be looking to bounce back from the disappointment of the Community Shield when they begin their 2022-23 Premier League campaign away to West Ham United on Sunday afternoon.
Foden is again expected to be a key player for the Citizens this term, while he will be involved for England at the 2022 World Cup providing that he is fit and available.

According to the Daily Mail, Man City could make an announcement on the attacker's new contract 'in the coming days or early next week'.
The report claims that Foden penned a £30,000-a-week deal with the club in 2018 but is now set to earn well in excess of £200,000 a week - a figure that will reflect his importance to the side.
The attacker has won four Premier League titles, one FA Cup and four League Cups during his time in the first team at the Etihad Stadium.
Man City will play five times in the Premier League in August, following the clash with West Ham with matches against Bournemouth, Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest.
