Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata has called on his teammates to start firing following three games without scoring.
Louis van Gaal's side suffered their third Premier League defeat in a row when Jonas Olsson struck in the second half to take maximum points at Old Trafford on Saturday.
No United player managed to get on the scoresheet, and prior to that, the team failed to strike in defeats to Chelsea and Everton.
In Mata's weekly blog, the Spaniard wrote: "The weekend has not been neither easy nor happy for us. Obviously, when you lose you are in a bitter mood until the next game, so I hope the week goes by quickly and we can reverse this bad streak of results.
"It's the tendency of the last few weeks - we have more ball possession that our opponent and create chances but we aren't able to take them. We must focus on being effective because we haven't scored in the last few games and we can't afford it any longer. There are three finals remaining and I hope we can change this streak as soon as possible."
United, who will face Crystal Palace away this weekend, are fourth in the table, four points above arch rivals Liverpool with three games left to play.
