Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee is allegedly interested in securing a return to Serie A as soon as the January transfer window.
The Netherlands international enjoyed his best moment in a Red Devils shirt on Sunday as he netted twice in a 4-0 victory over Everton.
Zirkzee had been a surprise inclusion by newly-appointed head coach Ruben Amorim, who deployed him down the middle of the attack with Marcus Rashford dropping into a deeper position.
Despite that show of faith from the Portuguese, it has been widely claimed that United are contemplating whether to try to sign a new frontman in January or in the summer.
With Rasmus Hojlund viewed as a long-term investment and ahead of Zirkzee in the pecking order, the suggestion has been that the summer arrival would be first out of the door.

Italy return a possibility?
As per Gazzetta dello Sport, Zirkzee would consider joining Juventus if an opportunity presented itself.
The Italian giants are now managed by Thiago Motta, who was in charge of Bologna and Zirkzee during their historic Champions-League-qualifying campaign in 2023-24.
Zirkzee would allegedly be interested in a reunion with Motta as he bids to keep Juventus in the Serie A title race.
Although Juventus are unbeaten in 14 league fixtures since the middle of August, eight of those matches have ended in draws.
Juventus are said to be interested in securing a loan deal for the 23-year-old, something that may be difficult to pull off unless United receive a substantial loan fee or a mandatory buy clause is included.

Is a deal realistic?
United would only consider parting ways with Zirkzee if a replacement was found. Despite netting just three times, the versatile attacker has been readily available and made 19 appearances.
Amorim and the club's hierarchy may have alternatives in mind, but they will realistically not be attainable until the summer, not helped by United's alleged position with the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability regulations and lack of Champions League football.
From Juventus' perspective, the future of leading talisman Dusan Vlahovic remains up in the air with Zirkzee seemingly viewed as a replacement.
