Patrick Bamford has urged Middlesbrough to take full advantage of their momentum when they meet Bournemouth on Saturday.
Victories over Ipswich Town and Derby County in the past week have left Aitor Karanka's side level on points with leaders Watford, and Bamford believes that it is vital for the squad not to get complacent as they look to protect their spot in the automatic playoff places.
"Hopefully we're building back our momentum at the right time, but straight after the game at Derby, everyone was sitting in the dressing room and saying we can't just sit on these two wins and think that our job is done," the striker told the Northern Echo
"We've got to go to Bournemouth now and try to win again. There's no point getting these two good results and playing as well as we have if we then go and throw it all away at Bournemouth. It's about keeping that consistency and pushing on."
Just 10 points currently separate the top eight sides in the Championship.
