David Moyo makes Northampton Town exit

Northampton Town release David Moyo following a lack of first-team action for the striker.

Northampton Town have confirmed that striker David Moyo has left the club following the termination of his contract.

The 20-year-old signed his first professional deal with the Cobblers in the summer after graduating from their youth system.

Moyo is currently on loan at Brackley Town and is now expected to pen a contract with the non-League outfit.

"David is a good lad and we wish him well," manager Chris Wilder told the club's official website. "His contract was up here in the summer and he is behind some of the other strikers here in the pecking order, but he leaves with our best wishes for the future."

Moyo scored two goals in 18 appearances for Northampton.
