Nottingham Forest sign Patjim Kasami on season-long loan

Nottingham Forest sign midfielder Patjim Kasami on a season-long loan from Olympiacos.

Former Fulham midfielder Patjim Kasami has joined Nottingham Forest from Olympiacos on a season-long loan.

The Switzerland international, best remembered for his strike in the 4-1 win at Crystal Palace in October 2013, boasts Premier League and Champions League experience.

Kasami featured 36 times for Fulham before departing to join Greek giants Olympiacos, where he featured in European football's top club competition.

Forest have now announced that an agreement has been struck to sign the 24-year-old, who has also played 12 times for Switzerland, making him their seventh signing of the summer.

The Reds begin their Championship campaign at home to Burton Albion on Saturday afternoon.
