Vincent Aboubakar was presented with plenty of first-half chances, but was left largely frustrated for the opening half-hour.
First he fired a header at Predrag Rajkovic before poking a left-footed volley wide of the near post on the stretch.
However, he finally grabbed the opening goal in the 37th minute as he again found space inside the area to thump home a header at the far post.

Just a few moments later Yacine Brahimi made it 2-0 with a composed finish after being found on the break by Aboubakar.
The visitors almost pulled a goal back after an hour, but Avi Rikan's first-time volley from distance whistled inches wide of the upright.
Aboubakar almost wrapped up the victory when he rattled the outside of the post after connecting with Christian Tello's low cross, and then Bruno Martins Indi flashed an effort over the bar from six yards as Porto continued to dominate proceedings.
Iker Casillas parried a late Eran Zahavi strike to safety and Porto saw out the remaining few minutes to move ahead of their Group G rivals.
