Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed that La Liga is the best domestic competition in the world.
The Portuguese star spent seven season in England with Manchester United before his £80m move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
"The Premier League is where I learned the basic rules of football, especially discipline," said the former Ballon d'Or winner.
"The Spanish league relies on technique and skill, so I think La Liga is the best league in the world, although the technical level is different to the Premier League."
Ronaldo spoke at the Dubai International Sports Conference on Wednesday.
