Xabi Prieto admits away struggles

Real Sociedad captain Xabi Prieto admits that his side currently have a problem producing performances on the road.

Real Sociedad captain Xabi Prieto has admitted that the Basque outfit need to address their stuttering away form if they are to have a successful season.

Sociedad have taken five points from their seven league games this season, with just one of those arriving on the road.

Following Sunday's 2-0 defeat at Espanyol, Prieto has called on his team to reproduce their home performances on their travels.

"I think at home we are very capable of dominating, even against the better teams like Real Madrid and Valencia," Inside Spanish Football quotes the midfielder as saying.

"But away from home, we're not the same team, we don't play the same way and that has to change. It's a bad habit we have that we concede the first goal consistently away from home."

Sociedad are already 10 points off the top four in La Liga.
