Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has said that he can handle the expectation placed upon him this season.
The 22-year-old netted 31 times in all competitions for Spurs last season and scored on his international debut for England.
Kane, who is currently on duty with the Three Lions, has yet to find the back of the net this term.
When asked about being under increased scrutiny following his achievements of last season, he told ESPN: "I think that was always going to be the case.
"And you are going to go through spells where you are on fire and everything you touch turns to goals, and others when it doesn't go your way.
"But I'm very focused and confident in my own ability. I know if I keep doing the right things, the goals will come. I need to try not to worry about the outside part of the game."
Kane has won two caps for England.
