Queens Park Rangers caretaker manager Chris Ramsey has claimed that Tim Sherwood did a "fantastic job" at Tottenham Hotspur.
The former Spurs boss has been linked with the vacant manager's post at Loftus Road following Harry Redknapp's decision to step down last week.
Sherwood was sacked by Spurs at the end of last season after six months in charge, despite leading them to a sixth-placed finish in the Premier League.
"He did a fantastic job at Tottenham," Ramsey told the Daily Mail.
"I think they're reaping the benefits of some of the stuff that was put in place four or five years ago to help the academy. I think it was probably underrated the job that he did."
Ramsey was part of Sherwood's coaching staff at the North London club.
