Aaron Lennon has emerged as a surprise target for Italian giants Inter Milan, who are reportedly looking to sign the Tottenham Hotspur winger next month.
The England international has had few first-team opportunities since Mauricio Pochettino was appointed as Spurs coach in the summer, having started just three Premier League games.
According to The People, Inter boss Roberto Mancini is willing to offer a lifeline to Lennon and is looking to bring him to the San Siro next month.
The Nerazzurri are said to be considering offering Colombian international Fredy Guarin in exchange for the former Leeds United attacker.
Lennon joined Spurs from Leeds in June 2005.
