Ligue 1 side Monaco have told Tottenham Hotspur that they must double their bid if they want to sign winger Yannick Ferreira Carrasco, according to reports.
The 21-year-old burst onto the scene last season by scoring six times in 36 league games, and he's been heavily linked with a move away from the club.
The Daily Star claims that Spurs opened the bidding with an offer of £8m, but Monaco want at least £16m to be on the table before they consider any deal.
Carrasco starred for Monaco when they beat Arsenal 3-1 in the last 16 of the Champions League.
