Stoke City defender Robert Huth is having a medical at Leicester City ahead of a potential loan move, Mark Hughes has confirmed.
Reports emerged earlier this week suggesting that the experienced German was a target of the relegation-threatened Foxes until the end of the season.
Potters boss Hughes confirmed after their 3-1 Premier League win over Queens Park Rangers on Saturday that the deal was at an advanced stage.
Leicester lost 3-1 at Manchester United this afternoon and have the third worst defensive record in the division.
Huth has made 187 appearances for Stoke since joining from Middlesbrough in 2009, but none as a starter in the league this season.
