Sunderland's Adam Johnson has insisted that he is not panicking about Sunderland's form after they dropped into the relegation zone at the weekend.
After their recent 8-0 drubbing against Southampton, the Black Cats attempted to respond against Arsenal, but they suffered a 2-0 defeat at the Stadium of Light following costly mistakes.
"It's very early still," the Northern Echo quotes Johnson as saying. "There's probably half the Premier League in a relegation battle at this minute in time, probably more.
"The likes of Southampton are very high at the moment, but three defeats in a row and you're in there anyway. We need to start picking up points and hopefully be pushing away from that."
Sunderland have won just once in the league so far this season.
