Newcastle United are considering an improved £7m offer for striker Papiss Cisse from Trabzonspor, according to reports.
The Turkish club saw a £4m offer rejected last week but Alan Pardew may still consider selling the Senegalese, who is deemed surplus to requirements, according to The Independent.
Cisse scored 13 goals in 12 games after his arrival from Freiburg in January 2012, but the Senegal international has found the back of the net only once in the Premier League this season.
Qatari club Al Rayyan had a £7m offer rejected by the North-East club on Wednesday.
