West Bromwich Albion joint-assistant head coach Keith Downing believes that striker Romelu Lukaku should be named PFA Young Player of the Year.
The 19-year-old, who moved to The Hawthorns at the beginning of the season on a loan deal from Chelsea, has netted six goals in his last seven Premier League matches.
"Rom has got to be up there given his goal record and his contribution, and to say he hasn't made that many starts," Downing told the club's official website. "He has made a big impression to kick-start his career."
The shortlist of nominees for the Professional Footballers' Association award will be announced in April.
