Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Stephen Ward has admitted that the club's players have not been good enough this season.
Wolves currently sit bottom of the Premier League table with eight games to play, and the 26-year-old believes that the players are to blame.
"The boys have to hold our hands up and say we've not been good enough this season. The lads are hurting but we'll all keep fighting to the end like we always do," Ward told The Express & Star.
"If we fall short, rest assured, we'll have given it everything. It's important that the fans realise we're as disappointed as they are."
Wolves host Bolton Wanderers in the Premier League next weekend.
