Jamie Peacock is targeting a Grand Final goodbye

Jamie Peacock 'dreams of finishing at Old Trafford' in his final Super League season with Leeds Rhinos.

Jamie Peacock hopes to call time on his glittering Super League career with an appearance at this season's Grand Final at Old Trafford.

The 37-year-old former England captain endured a miserable season last year as his Leeds Rhinos team crashed out in the first round of the playoffs against Catalan Dragons.

"The dream finish for me would be Old Trafford, but there are a lot of other teams out there and we need to improve dramatically on where we were at the end of last year," Peacock told reporters.

"It was disappointing to lose the way we did and have to watch all the playoffs and the Grand Finals. It's been a long pre-season and we can't wait to get out there and play.

"If it doesn't happen for me, I'll be all right with it, but that's the way I want to go out."

Leeds Rhinos begin their 2015 Super League campaign when they face Hull Kingston Rovers on Sunday.
