England full-back Alex Goode hopes that he will be fit to make his Saracens return at the beginning of September.
The 25-year-old, who missed his country's summer tour of Argentina with a shoulder injury, has also revealed that he has returned "leaner and stronger than before".
"I'm not training with the team fully yet, but I've had a long off-season doing rehab on my shoulder and have come back leaner and stronger than before," Goode, whose side open their league campaign against London Irish on September 7, told reporters.
"Come the season I am expecting myself to be stronger, faster and fitter which is a great way to start the year."
