Andy Murray has claimed that his starring role in Great Britain's Davis Cup triumph may help him to end his Australian Open hoodoo in January.
The Scot has reached the final four times in Melbourne, only to lose on each occasion.
However, having helped Britain to win the Davis Cup for the first time since 1936 in Ghent earlier today, the world number two is hopeful that it may inspire him to go one better at the first Grand Slam event of 2016.
"The Australian Open is next. I have lost in the final four times. I need to learn a few things about how I have handled this weekend. I will try to do that in Australia," he told BBC Sport.
Of the four defeats that Murray has suffered in Australia, three have been inflicted by Novak Djokovic, while the other came at the hands of Roger Federer.
