Richard Gasquet has said that Andy Murray must be considered as the favourite to win their fourth-round clash at the French Open.
The pair will go head to head on the Philippe Chatrier Court tomorrow, with the Scot having won all three of their Grand Slam meetings to date.
Murray has fought back from two sets down to emerge triumphant twice, while also winning in straight sets at Wimbledon last year.
The Frenchman believes that he has a better chance of beating Murray on clay, but conceded that he is still the underdog in his home tournament.
"I think it's always better to play him on clay than on grass," said Gasquet. "But he's in the world's top four and has been for quite a while, so I'm not the favourite.
"It's up to me to play a big match, to play inside the court, which is what I managed to do in Rome during the third set. I have the crowd, and I have to give everything to have no regrets."
Gasquet defeated Murray at the Rome Open last month.
