Juan Martin Del Potro has progressed to the fourth round at Indian Wells after overcoming Fernando Verdasco 6-2 7-6.
The Argentinian cruised through the opening set, breaking in games three and five and holding his serve with authority.
There was not even a break point in the second set, as both men dominated their service games to set up a tie-break.
Verdasco's ultra-courageous approach helped him to storm into a 6-4 lead in the breaker.
The Spaniard lost his nerve though and, after throwing away two set points, he produced a double fault to leave Del Potro to serve out 8-6 and take the match.
