Feliciano Lopez of Spain is into the third round of the men's Olympic singles following a comfortable straight-sets victory over Argentina's ninth seed Juan Monaco at Wimbledon.
Despite dropping a service game in the opening set, Lopez broke back twice to take it 6-4.
The world number 29 then sealed his passage through to the next round with a 6-4 win in the second.
Lopez will now come up against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga after the French fifth seed beat Canada's Milos Raonic in a record-breaking match on Tuesday.
