Real Madrid have reportedly rejected the chance to re-sign Sergio Ramos on a free transfer.
The 38-year-old famously turned out for Los Blancos between 2005 and 2021, making 671 appearances for the capital giants, scoring 101 goals and registering 40 assists in the process.
Ramos won five La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey trophies and four Champions Leagues during his time at Bernabeu, and he has since represented Paris Saint-Germain and Sevilla following his exit from the capital giants in 2021.
The Spaniard is currently a free agent, and there has been speculation surrounding a possible return to Real Madrid, with the La Liga champions losing Eder Militao for the remainder of the campaign due to a serious knee injury.
According to El Chiringuito, Ramos offered himself back to Real Madrid, but Los Blancos turned it down, with club president Florentino Perez said to be 'firmly against' a return for the veteran defender.

Real Madrid 'turn down chance to re-sign Ramos'
Ramos made 58 appearances for PSG during his time in the French capital, while he turned out on 37 occasions for Sevilla during the 2023-24 campaign after securing an emotional return to the club.
Real Madrid currently have an injury crisis in the middle of their defence, with Militao ruled out for the remainder of the season due to an ACL injury, while David Alaba is still not ready to return.
Alaba is closing in on a return to training, with the Austria international potentially available before the end of the year, but he has not played since last December, and it will take him time to reach full fitness.
Aurelien Tchouameni is expected to be used as a centre-back alongside Antonio Rudiger in the coming weeks, although the Frenchman is currently on the sidelines with an ankle problem and will not be back until the start of next month.
Nacho has also been linked with a potential switch back to Bernabeu, but the former Real Madrid captain ruled out returning to Carlo Ancelotti's side and revealed that he had not been contacted by the club.

What next for Ramos after Real Madrid snub?
Ramos allegedly has no plans to retire, and Brazilian outfit Corinthians have revealed that they are interested in signing him.
"There are several names that appear during the transfer window, when it is an important moment of the year. Not only has Sergio Ramos been talked about, but many others," Corinthians executive Fabinho Soldado said when asked about a possible move for the former Real Madrid captain in the near future.
"We analyse and of course we have to prioritise the position. The financial issue is important and we will always make the best choice for Corinthians."
Ramos has also been linked with a switch to Saudi Arabia and the MLS, and having allegedly been rejected by Real Madrid, he will now be looking to secure what is likely to be the final move of his career.
