Clarence Seedorf has signed a two-year deal with Botafogo, the Brazilian club have confirmed.
The 36-year-old had been a free agent after failing to renew his contract with AC Milan.
"Botafogo have completed the signing of 36-year-old Dutch midfielder Clarence Seedorf," read a statement on the club's official website.
"He has signed a two-year contract with Botafogo. The date of his presentation will be announced at a later time. This is the biggest signing of a foreign player made by a Brazilian club."
Seedorf won two Serie A titles and two Champions Leagues during his 10-year spell at the San Siro.
