Report: Arsenal accept Galatasaray loan offer for Mathieu Debuchy

Arsenal reportedly accept a loan offer from Galatasaray for French defender Mathieu Debuchy.

Arsenal have accepted a loan offer from Galatasaray for defender Mathieu Debuchy, according to reports.

The 31-year-old joined the Gunners from Newcastle United in the summer of 2014 but a series of injuries during his debut season at the Emirates Stadium allowed Hector Bellerin to take his spot in the side.

According to Goal.com, a deal will be completed for the Frenchman, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Bordeaux, to join the Turkish giants in the coming days.

Debuchy featured in Arsenal's 8-0 pre-season friendly victory over Viking FK on Friday.
