Folarin Balogun is reportedly closing in on a new long-term contract with Arsenal.
The 19-year-old's current deal at the Emirates Stadium is due to expire at the end of June, and a number of clubs are said to be keen on signing him on a free transfer.
However, according to the Daily Mail, the uncertainty surrounding the teenager's future will soon come to an end as he prepares to put pen to paper on a new contract with Mikel Arteta's side.
The report claims that Gunners boss Arteta has played a key role in convincing the attacker that he has a long-term future at the North London club.
Balogun has scored eight times in 16 appearances for Arsenal Under-23s in Premier League 2 this season, while he has also featured on five occasions for the first team, providing two goals.
Manchester City, Everton and Crystal Palace were all thought to be in the running to sign the attacker.
