Chelsea winger Willian has reportedly turned down the chance to join David Beckham's new MLS franchise Inter Miami when his contract at Stamford Bridge expires.
The 31-year-old is due to leave Chelsea at the end of this season, having failed to agree a long-term extension to his expiring contract.
Willian is understood to want a new three-year deal with the London outfit, but that would go against club policy for players over the age of 30 and the Blues are only willing to offer him a two-year extension.
A number of clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal, have been credited with an interest in the Brazilian, and The Telegraph reports that Beckham's Inter Miami have lodged a lucrative contract offer.
However, Willian has rejected that as he still believes that he is playing at a level which could see him succeed at a top European club.
Willian has scored 11 goals and created nine more in 44 appearances across all competitions this season, including four goals and two assists in five games since lockdown.
