Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain is expected to complete a move to Arsenal on Friday after holding face-to-face talks with the club, according to his father.
The Argentine has been linked with a move to the Gunners for the past month now, but rumours have suggested that a deal may not happen due to potential stalling of the transfer.
However, amid reports that Higuain will be unveiled at the Emirates Stadium for £23m on Friday, his dad confirmed that they are in negotiations with the London outfit and that his son will play in England.
"We received permission from Real Madrid to negotiate face to face with Arsenal and luckily soon I will see my son in the Premier League," said Jorge Higuain.
Higuain is rumoured to be signing a three-year contract with Arsenal.
