Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for both Swansea City and Brighton & Hove Albion.
After dropping down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium, Jenkinson is expected to leave before the end of August and he is likely to have offers from clubs in the Premier League.
Newcastle United have allegedly ended their interest but according to the Daily Mail, both Swansea and Brighton are considering whether to launch a bid.
Both clubs are looking for additions as they look to enjoy a season away from the relegation zone, with Swansea only staying up on the penultimate weekend during the last campaign and Brighton earning promotion from the Championship.
Since signing for Arsenal in 2011, Jenkinson has played 38 times for the North Londoners in the league, while he has also featured in the top flight on 52 occasions during two separate loan spells at West Ham United.
