AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri has said that his side's goalless draw against Barcelona in the Champions League last night was a fair result.
The Italian, whose side can now progress to the semi-finals with a draw in Barcelona in the second leg, insists that the tie was a fair reflection of the game, despite the visitors' appeal for a spot kick in the first half.
"Tonight we showed great commitment despite some difficult moments," he said. "Now we can think about the return leg.
"In the first half we created several clear chances and despite the regret at not taking them we gained confidence. The final result is fair. It's difficult to measure our chances for the return leg."
Meanwhile, Milan remain in first place in Serie A, four points ahead of Juventus.
