Barcelona and AC Milan are reportedly currently in negotiations over a possible deal for Junior Firpo.
The 24-year-old struggled for action during the 2020-21 campaign, making just seven La Liga appearances, while he has found it difficult to impress since arriving at Camp Nou from Real Betis in 2019.
The speculation surrounding the defender's future has gathered pace in recent weeks, with Barcelona seemingly keen to offload him ahead of the 2021-22 season.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are in discussions with the La Liga outfit over a deal, and the Italian side are keen to take Firpo on an initial loan with an option to buy.
The report claims that the two clubs are still some way from reaching an agreement, though, as Milan do not want to be obliged to sign the left-back on a permanent deal.
Firpo has scored twice and provided three assists in 41 outings for Barcelona and still has more than three years left to run on his contract with Ronald Koeman's side.
