Benjamin Henrichs 'wants to leave Bayer Leverkusen'

German defender Benjamin Henrichs informs Bayer Leverkusen that he wants to leave the Bundesliga outfit this summer, according to a report.

German defender Benjamin Henrichs has reportedly informed Bayer Leverkusen that he wants to leave the Bundesliga outfit in this summer's transfer window.

Henrichs, 21, came through the youth system at Leverkusen, and has made 75 first-team appearances for the German club since debuting in 2015.

Last term, the defender made 28 appearances in all competitions, but his long-term future at the BayArena has been called into question.

According to various reports in Germany, Henrichs has informed Leverkusen that he wants to move on this summer amid suggestions of interest from Inter Milan.

The three-time German international has a contract with Die Werkself until the summer of 2022.
