Cardiff City manager Russell Slade has revealed that he is looking to add firepower up front in the January transfer window.
With just four losses all season, the Bluebirds find themselves teetering on the edge of the playoffs and Slade is keen to make use of next month in order to sustain a promotion challenge in the second half of the campaign.
"We've been researching for weeks and weeks," he told Wales Online. "We've looked at the situation. We are close to one or two pieces of work that we would like to achieve.
"We will have to wait and see. It's like spinning plates.
"We are looking at different options. It's dangerous to put your apples all into one basket. Hopefully we will land our preferred targets. We at looking at the forward areas. To find pace. That would be useful."
Cardiff travel to the Midlands tonight to take on fellow promotion contenders Birmingham City.
