Roma coach Rudi Garcia has insisted that he intends to keep midfielder Daniele De Rossi at the club this summer.
De Rossi has four years remaining on his contract at the Stadio Olimpico, but Premier League giants Chelsea are reported to be interested in the 29-year-old.
When asked about the De Rossi's future, Garcia told reporters: "He is a great player and surely it's better to have him with us than to see him leave."
De Rossi, who has represented Italy's senior national side on 90 occasions, has been a Roma player since 2000.
