Chelsea youngster Jordan Houghton has joined Gillingham on loan until January.
The 19-year-old, who has been with the Blues since the age of seven, is described as "combative, committed and confident with the ball at his feet" on Chelsea's official website.
A number of clubs had been linked with a move for the teenager this summer, but League One outfit Gillingham have won the race.

Houghton was also a member of Chelsea's FA Youth Cup-winning team in 2014.
