Fernando Torres is reportedly positive about a possible loan move to AC Milan after failing to reignite his Chelsea career.
The Spain international has struggled to recreate the form that earned him a £50m price tag when Chelsea bought the striker from Liverpool back in 2011.
Following the arrival of Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid this summer, Torres's chances of playing regularly this season look bleak.
This week, Milan confirmed their interest in Torres, who has scored 20 Premier League goals in 110 appearances for the Blues.
According to The Express, reports in Italy have claimed that Torres is open to a loan move, but a disagreement over wages between Milan and Chelsea appears to have halted the move.
The Serie A club are believed to be willing to cover a third of Torres's £175,000-a-week wages, but Chelsea want Milan to pay his entire salary while the striker is in Italy.
