AC Milan 'open talks with Chelsea over Fernando Torres transfer'

AC Milan are allegedly in negotiations with Chelsea regarding the future of Fernando Torres.

AC Milan have reportedly opened talks with Chelsea over the future of striker Fernando Torres.

The two clubs are close to reaching an agreement on a fee for the Spaniard, according to Sky Sports News.

Torres, who has endured a difficult time at Stamford Bridge since joining Chelsea from Liverpool, failed to make the squad for last weekend's 2-0 win over Leicester City.

The forward could re-team with his Chelsea teammate Marco van Ginkel at Milan, with the Serie A club believed to be keen to take the player out on loan.
