Everton are reportedly the latest Premier League side to show an interest in Blackburn Rovers teen Callum Wright, who has previously spent time in their youth ranks.

Young Blackburn Rovers midfielder Callum Wright is a January transfer target for Premier League side Everton, according to a report.

The 17-year-old is said to have caught the eye of a number of top-flight clubs, having also been linked with Leicester City, Stoke City and Tottenham Hotspur.

Everton are the latest side to show an interest, with the Liverpool Echo suggesting that boss Sam Allardyce intends to add the English teen to the Toffees' Under-23s squad.

Liverpool-born Wright has previously spent time in Everton's youth ranks, before moving on to Blackburn in the 2015-16 campaign.

Last season saw the in-demand midfielder score three goals in his 24 appearances at development level.
