Evian TG coach Pascal Dupraz has admitted that defeating Paris Saint-Germain in the Coupe de France quarter-finals has his side "dreaming" of a trip to the Stade de France.
Dupraz said that he told his players early on that they would reach the final and he is delighted that they are now just one game away from it.
"We hung in there and we qualified," Ligue1.com quotes Dupraz as saying. "We're one match away from the Stade de France and I think we're dreaming.
"Ever since the round of 64 game against Amiens in January, I'd told the lads we were going to go to the Stade de France. You need a bit of luck along the way. I think we played well in the first half but suffered afterwards.
"We've knocked out PSG and we're sorry about that, but we too wanted to go to the Stade de France! We hope this qualification will help us stay in Ligue 1 and that we can achieve both things."
Evian are currently three points above the Ligue 1 relegation zone.
