Andrea Pirlo has claimed that Italy have taken a lot of confidence out of their 1-1 draw with Spain in Sunday's Euro 2012 Group C opener in Gdansk.
The Juventus playmaker provided the assist for Antonio Di Natale's opener on the hour before Cesc Fabregas levelled the scores just minutes later.
"We played well," the 33-year-old told Rai Sport. "I would give us a seven [out of 10]. This match can give us a lot of confidence for our next games."
The Azzurri next come up against Croatia in Poznan on Thursday.
