Juventus are understood to be willing to offer Napoli striker Edinson Cavani a contract worth almost £4m per season, according to reports.
The Italian outfit, who have a one-point lead over rivals AC Milan in the race for Serie A, have struggled to score goals on a consistent basis this season.
With veteran striker Alessandro Del Piero linked with a move out of Turin, it is believed that Bianconeri general manager Giuseppe Marotta would be willing to double the striker's current wages in a bid to lure him to the club.
However, according to Tuttosport, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has an asking price of at least £41m for his star forward.
