Steven Gerrard has been officially unveiled as a Los Angeles Galaxy player this evening at half time in their match against Toronto FC.
The 35-year-old ended his 17-year career at Liverpool when he made the decision to join the reigning MLS Cup holders, and he is relishing the opportunity to play in the league when he is able to pull on a shirt for the first time against the San Jose Earthquakes on July 17.
Gerrard told the crowd at the StubHub Center: "It feels great to be here. I'm excited. I can't wait to get my boots on and play in front of you guys. Hopefully we can have some good times together."
