UEFA to take no action against Manchester City

UEFA will take no further action against Manchester City after their supporters booed the Champions League anthem ahead of their match in Sevilla.

Manchester City will not face any disciplinary action from UEFA after their supporters jeered the Champions League anthem earlier this month.

City were warned after their fans jeered the theme song ahead of a fixture at the Etihad Stadium in October, but it did not stop away followers repeating the act away in Spain against Sevilla.

Signs were also held up at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium, but UEFA has announced that no further action will be taken.

City won the match 3-1 thanks to goals from Raheem Sterling, Fernandinho and Wilfried Bony.
