Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has labelled new signing Raheem Sterling as one of the "best attacking players in world football".
The 20-year-old winger completed his move from Liverpool on Wednesday in a deal that is thought to be worth around £49m, having turned down several chances to remain at the Anfield club.
"Raheem Sterling is one of the best attacking players in world football," said Pellegrini, according to the Irish Examiner.
"He is a young player with outstanding ability and I am sure the Manchester City fans will be very excited about seeing him in action for the team."
Sterling made 129 appearances and scored 23 goals while representing Liverpool.
